A photo with a transparent background overlay showing the checkerboard present when editing in photoshop. The picture is of a tree in front of the brown house where the artist grew up. The roof has been rewoven with photographs of the tree in front of the house. This weaving has the appearance of a checkerboard too. The cardboard scultpure that is the base photo in the image above. This sculpture is a recreation from memory of the artist's childhood home. As memory often is unpredicatable, there are gaps in what the artist could recall. Particualrly the roof, which was always overshadowed by a large oak tree. To represnt this lapse of memory, the roof has been woven into with pictures of this tree. A picture of the first image printed and mounted on a white wall. An overhead view of the weaving of photos into the cardboard house's roof. A view showing the garage doors open to the cardboard house. It's hard to make out what is visible inside. A better view inside the garage, there are strips of pictures, similiar to what was used to weave the roof, strung around the garage. The environment is one of chaos.
